One of five railway tracks between Gothenburg and Stockholm is still closed to traffic.
The reason is that a train driver ran a red light.
"In the event of a so-called unauthorized passage, that is, when a driver runs a red light, we have to replace that driver as standard. This means that the train will be at a standstill until we get a new driver," said Angelica Knutsson, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.
The result will be delays in train traffic due to track shortages, butKnutsson cannot answer how many departures will be affected.
The forecast was earlier that a new driver would be in place by 10 o'clock, yet that has not held.
"But I have not yet received confirmation from our traffic management," Knutsson told Swedish newswire TT.
